Most Improved Venue 2019 Finalists

Voting will close this Friday 1st November.

The vote has been running for a couple of months now. We opened up nominations allowing the public to add venues to the vote that they thought deserved most improved venue 2019.

It has been neck and neck between two venues for the duration of the vote. One being Ashby Mill Road Club and the other being town centre pub The Penny Bank.

Over the years we have seen a huge decline in nightlife and various venues being closed or demolished so it’s great to see so much support for the local venues.

What is the award for? The award is for a venue that has shown great improvement over 2019. Whether this be introducing a good variety of events & entertainment, makeover, atmosphere, staff, friendliness or just all round a great place that people should give a chance.

There has been some lovely comments about the nominated venues and I’m sure it makes them proud to see that their efforts and improvements have been noticed.

Due to the neck and neck situation throughout the whole vote. I will be awarding a 1st place and a 2nd place award. There is still time to vote so if you haven’t already, please do!

You will need to join the Facebook group to vote, Facebook rules, not mine. The vote had to be created on a group rather than a page as you can only have 2 options on a page vote. So if you are not seeing the option to tick a vote box, this means you need to request to join the group.

Many Thanks to the venues and everyone who has voted so far.

And don’t forget SUPPORT LOCAL!
