This weekend Party In The Pines went out on a high with it’s last public event. There were a lot of bands and DJ’s that took to the 3 different stages.
To celebrate 40 years, the class of 77 are hosting a 70’s night reunion at the Robert Holme Hall Hospital club on Church Lane in Scunthorpe on 26th August 2017. The event is open to anyone who attended any year in the 70’s so grab your school friends and party.
You can also pay on the door if you don’t have a ticket
We spoke to a good friend of mine Casper Croft, the man with a history of many bright hair colours (Currently Green). If you have ever been to Pines before you may have spotted him about sporting his pines t shirt. He is the man behind the posts, poster’s, website and general organisation along with main organiser Gaz Hird.
If you follow local town centre nightclub storm on social media you will have seen their latest announcement of closure. Although sad news for STORM fans… Don’t worry too much as the venue is set to open under a new management company in May. It might mean a new name but it is uncertain what else will change.
Comment from new management: Greetings from all of us at Stealth bars & clubs ltd
There has been a lot of talk over the past week about the new venue and what we intend to bring to scunthorpe. We don’t want to spoil the surprise however we can confirm that the rumour of the club being called Stealth is false. Tho our company name may be Stealth we actually don’t own any bars with that name 🤔 We can confirm however that this image is part of the new logo!
Anyone who can guess the venues name can have a free vip booth package on us for the launch night (T&C’s apply)
STORM FACEBOOK MSG:
We would just like to say thank you to everyone who enjoyed and supported storm over the past few years but It is with the heaviest hearts that we must say that storm is now closed indefinitely. As we set our sights on to bigger and brighter plans we have handed over the venue to Stealth bars & clubs who promise to bring something scunthorpe has never seen before!
All events planned for storm have been handed over to the new company and will continue under the new venue which aims to open in may.
The new facebook profile pic for STORM has now been changed to the image below.
