On SUNDAY (17th September) our friends at The Mouth Magazine are hosting a special screening of the critically acclaimed new documentary DISPOSSESSION: THE GREAT SOCIAL HOUSING SWINDLE.
Narrated by MAXINE PEAKE and directed by Paul Sng (‘Sleaford Mods – Invisible Britain’), this MUST SEE film explores the catastrophic failures that have led to a chronic shortage of social housing in the UK.
With unprecedented access to residents, politicians and experts in the housing industry and media, this film is the story of people fighting for their communities, of people who know the difference between a house and a home, and who believe that housing is a human right, not an expensive luxury.
The screening begins at 4.30pm (so we’ll open at 3.45, and you’ll be home in time for your tea). Admission is £4. Event page here for film trailers etc: http://bit.ly/2tSPsKM
