Plowright Theatre – ‘Showtime’ by Jopsox

Scunthorpe & N Lincs LGBTQ

This event will take place at The Plowright Theatre from Thursday 5th until Saturday 7th June. We are sending young Jamie along to review the event.

Music from: Guys and Dolls, The Boyfriend, Easter Parade, Annie, Matilda, Sister Act, Billy Elliot, Hairspray and Blood Brothers are just a few of the shows covered in this spectacular evening of song and dance.

The Scunthorpe Amateur Operatic Society was founded in 1908 and is one of the oldest established groups presenting musical productions and concerts in the Scunthorpe area. More than 100 years later they are still going strong and welcome people of all ages from 15 upwards.

If you’re younger than 15 you may be more interested in the junior section, Jopsox. Further information can be obtained from Jacky Bacon, whose details are available on the ‘contact’ page.
