20-21 Visual Arts Centre is delighted to announce ‘Delay-a-grams’, the new exhibition by Hull based artist Dom Heffer.
In a world of 24 hour news, instantaneous communications, fast food and even faster images, Heffer has produced a new series of paintings that highlight the gallery as a refuge for ‘slow looking’.
Each artwork focuses upon our culture’s relationship to vision via advertising, entertainment, food, gaming and the ways in which we look at nature. The exhibition includes artworks made by participants in a series of workshops led by Dom as part of our summer programme.
