The first heat of 2025 kicked off last Friday and if you missed out, the next instalment is Heat 2 this Friday 12th September .
First bands into the semi finals are Suburban Toys and Roulette Band.
It’s £3 entry and held at The Black Beauty pub. From 7:30pm until late.
Sadly I’m going to miss the first few heats and I’ll be away for the final but I’ve always loved Rock Open since my teen years. Discovering new unsigned and local talent is special and if you can support it, get yourselves there. Why not for £3!

Semi – finals take place on Friday 24th and Friday 31st October, respectively, with the Grand Final taking place on Friday 28th November.
