Who are the Saviours? Well they are a local 4 Piece Originals Alternative Rock Band. With band members, Jonny Bilton – Guitar/Vocals, Sam Gosiewski – Lead Guitar/Backing Vocals, Alex Staton – Bass Guitar/Backing Vocals & Nathanial Weatherall – Drums/Percussion.
You probably won’t have had the pleasure of seeing them perform live yet as they’ve only had one live gig but I hope that when this is all over you will head out, pay a couple of quid and attend a local gig to show your support.

“What do you mean, original music?” I hear you ask…. the easiest answer to that is, not covers of other artists. Original bands may cover popular songs from time to time but prominently they write and perform their own songs and lyrics, supported by fans that follow their band and people willing to open their ears and hearts to the prospect of loving a new local band with original music that they’ve never heard before.
Scunthorpe have had some outstanding bands with original material, it seemed slim pickings for a while with many leaving the scene or calling it a day but it looks like there are a few new formations to liven the original scene back up and things are looking a little more exciting than last year.
