AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE will be taking to the stage at the local music venue The Lincoln Imp. There will be only 300 tickets available so a pretty intimate gig as the venue can fit a lot more than that. Tickets are on sale now on See tickets and will set you back £16.

On Tuesday 20 June, Scunthorpe’s Church Square will host the North Lincolnshire Powerhouse Festival, a celebration of local music, dance and art.
From 9.30am, come and explore the stalls in and around Church Square. Enjoy a variety of free music, culture and art activities, performances and workshops – suitable for all ages.
Expect to see stalls from North Lincolnshire Museum, the Tour of Britain team, North Lindsey College, John Leggott College, Skills Centre Plus and many more. There will be further activities taking place inside 20-21 Visual Arts Centre and North Lincolnshire Central Library.
In the centre of Church Square will be the huge inflatable purple venue from professional orchestra, Sinfonia Viva. The incredible venue has been brought to Scunthorpe as part of Viva’s Cabinet of Curiosity tour.
During the day the venue will be used for music workshops with local schools and then, in the evening, it will come alive for the Powerhouse Showcase.
The showcase, from 6pm to 8.45pm, is open to the public and will see a series of performances based on the themes of power and energy. Sparks will fly with performances from local acts including the Jazz Rock Band and First Concert Band from the Music Hub, Tetsu Taiko, and Frederick Gough School and Axholme Academy bands in collaboration with Sinfonia Viva.
Tickets for the Powerhouse Showcase cost just £4 and are available online now from the Simfonia Viva website or by calling their box office on 0333 666 3366.
Ahead of this year’s Party In The Pines we will be featuring some of the music and artists you can expect to see and hear in the trees this August. If you like what you see then don’t miss out on North Lincolnshire’s best independent festival.
