New Dog Friendly Café // Messingham

Opening Saturday 7th May to the public, a brand new Dog friendly cafe in Messingham. “Sit Dog Café” pride themselves on being family friendly and will be offering a dog menu, a kids menu, adults menu and full drinks menu.

You don’t need a dog to visit the café and you don’t need to borrow one…unless you want to of course.

Huge, Safe, Outdoor Space

The café have around a 5th of an acre in outdoor space comprising of grassy areas, patio and also barked areas. Oodles of space for your children to enjoy and soft surfaces so they can’t hurt themselves if they fall! The garden is completely secure and little people cannot escape! We all know that children love to be outside. We have lots of outside, undercover areas comprising of 3 open barns and a fantastic stretch tent. This means that no matter what the weather, if your children want to be outside we can keep you dry or shaded. In cooler weather we will even put out fleecy blankets for you to keep cosy too.

Engaging Toy Boxes

Dog Sit Cafe’s sister company is Wise Owl Nurseries, so they know a lot about play and the importance of interaction with others. They have toy boxes which have been put together especially to encourage family play. The toy boxes have been designed to appeal to people of all ages, and in fact you don’t have to be a child to pick one up and have fun! The games in the toy boxes have been chosen to be understood, enjoyed and played by the whole family and include games such as:

  • Dobble
  • Jenga
  • Playing Cards
  • Uno
  • Dominoes
  • Colouring Books And Pencil Crayons

You may also find a few surprises in there too! Lots to do – and if you build something amazing with the lego, you are encouraged to photograph it with their polaroid camera and stick it up on the Wall Of Fame.

I have been working with @annas_attic_interiors_shop I gave her my brief at the beginning of the process. I wanted something that was comfortable, spacious, luxurious, and felt like home. I wanted to create a café you will never want to leave.

I’m so proud of what we have achieved and we can’t wait to shown off our beautiful cafe.

Anna and her team have worked so hard to get everything ready. You are all going to be ABSOLUTELY BOWLED OVER as it is just stunning.

I am also very proud of Kim and Sarah our new cafe managers who have been helping prepare everything for opening.

We have indeed created a café you will never want to leave
