Re-opened // Oscars Bar & Nightclub Scunthorpe

Opening Times:

Monday- Thursday: 11am- 11pm
Friday-Saturday: 9am-4am
Sunday- 11:00am-11pm

Formerly known as Blarney Stone but renamed quite a few years ago as Oscars bar. I can’t say exactly how long this place has been closed, I really couldn’t tell you as I haven’t been since around 2015.

Many of the new generation of pub and club goers perhaps have never even heard of Oscars Bar and don’t even know where it is.

Well, it’s hidden off the high street on 6 Gillett Street, DN15 6EY. Across from Natwest bank in town if you follow the side road past the tanning and betting shop, it’s a big blue and white building that you wonder how you ever missed!

Blarney Stone was famous for it’s student night “Blarney Thursday’s” with cheap drinks and a dancefloor open into the early hours.

The building itself is quite big, it does have quite an interesting layout with the dancefloor situated on a lower level, there is plenty of room to dance with no bar que in your way.

Will you be popping in for a look?

Oscars is now 1 of 2 large club still open or existing in Scunthorpe. It will be open 7 days a week and on weekends it will open 9pm until 4am and it’s FREE ENTRY all night.

Give it a go, see what you think. Support local venues, if you don’t use them we lose them. If you fancy checking a few venues out see the suggestions below.
