Bands & Musicians Wanted

“Musicians In Lockdown”

I’m looking for local bands and artists who would be willing to record a short video answering some tailored questions about surviving 2020 and the lockdown without gigs. The crippling impact of venue closures, social distancing and ban on live music along with a few random questions thrown in.
The video doesn’t need to be long, a minute or less.

How do I get involved?

  • Fill in the form at the bottom of the page to register your interest.
  • Once I have a few submissions I will send you a couple of questions via email so you can film and send over to be collated into a short video to raise awareness of how important live music is and the effects of the lockdown on live music and venues.

Feel free to give your band or music a shout out in the video or give us a quick song!

I know a lot of people miss live music so it’s a chance to speak from the other side for the people who miss playing it and entertaining local crowds.

Original and cover bands/artist welcome. You can get 1 member to answer all the questions or get various members to answer different questions on separate videos. Phone videos are absolutely fine, you will be given a dropbox link to upload yours if it is too large for an email.

If not enough responses are received I won’t proceed with making a video, so share with your musician friends. And I hope you are all Well 🙂

Local to Scunthorpe and surrounding areas. Any Venue managers, staff or operators reading this, if you also want a part in talking about the effect of not being able to host live music, get in touch.

Once this is all over hopefully we can all work together to put on a gig with anyone involved.
