Some of the local pubs, restaurants and cafes etc plan to open from this Saturday 4th July but if you are thinking of venturing out, try to read up on the rules of the venue before you intend to visit. Not all venues will be listed below but if you want to add to it just comment on the Facebook post for this article.

The Lincoln Imp
There will be procedures in place following Government guidelines to keep staff and customers as safe as possible at all times.
- Sanitiser stations on entry
- Contact details taken to adhere to Government request
- One way systems in operation
- Staff to seat customers
Inside the venue:
- On entry you will be seated as there will be no vertical drinking
- Table service option
- 4 People from the same bubble can be sat together (only 1 to go to the bar)
- Bar service will be split to order & pay then a collection point
- Empty glasses will be collected by staff and do not need to be returned to the bar
Outside Areas:
- Social distance standing allowed
- Outside seating 6 per table from your bubble
Toilets:
- One way system
- Regularly cleaned, all touch points sanitised regularly
Unfortunately the current guidelines do not allow us to have entertainment or sport commentary but we still welcome you back to the Lincoln Imp for a friendly drink or 2 😀

- “We all must keep a social distance and please be aware you may have to queue but we will try our best to keep it as short a time as possible
- On entering please sanitize your hands at the station there is a station at every doorway and more dotted about all over
- We all must follow the one way system and keep a social distance there are markers over all the floors
- We all must give our details for the track and trace system which will be kept for 21 days
- We must not allow children to run around inside they must be seated and accompanied to the toilet
- Toilets must not be over crowded please keep to a minimum
- Play park is out of bounds until the government say otherwise ( sorry )
- Please bare with us as this is all new to us but if you are unsure of anything we ll do our best to help
- Please don’t abuse the staff as you will be asked to leave
- We will be cleaning all hard touch areas constantly throughout opening areas to keep you safe
- If possible please pay by card or the app we are having created and hopefully up and running by the time we open
- There will also be a limited capacity and music kept to a reasonable volume so no need for shouting as that causes a higher risk
- Let’s all stay safe and keep to social distancing and the other guidelines so we can stay open and you can enjoy a pint with your friends

Greene King pubs will not reopen until Monday 6th July to avoid a Saturday opening. This will include The Farmhouse, Queensway, The Priory.
The Penny Bank issued a message that they will NOT be reopening until early September at the earliest due to improvements being made on the venue.
Cafe INDIE confirmed they will not open the cafe until August.
Mary Rose confirmed they will not be reopening on 4th July.
