A few local people have been live streaming or setting challenges to keep you entertained. If you’re still at work, then maybe you just need something to break up the weekend, other than a trip to the shop and a walk around.

Want to get Facebook lives on your tv rather than your phone/laptop screen? Here’s a few ways you can do this.

Do you have a TV with a HDMI lead output? If you have a games console or set top box (Sky/Virgin) the answer is likely to be yes. No problem this is pretty easy plug and play. Just use the HDMI lead and plug one end into the TV HDMI port and one into the side of your laptop HDMI. Select the HDMI port channel on your tv using the source button and away you go. Just log into your Facebook as normal and your laptop screen should be cast onto your TV screen and sound.

Don’t have a HDMI? Well there are a few other ways, smart TV’s have browsers, so try go to Facebook on your tv and log in as you would on any other device. Some other cables may work but HDMI will be the quickest and easiest.

Got a Firestick or Chromecast device? Similar to the HDMI connection but nothing needs connecting to your phone or laptop as it is done wireless. You can google search how to cast your screen to one of these devices that plug into your TV.

So what’s out there?
