We also have a great selection of family-friendly events and activities to look forward to, some, like our skating rink, we are hosting for the very first time.
We look forward to welcoming you to the park this festive season.

Christmas Market: two weeks to go!
Our most popular event is back! The Christmas Market returns between 10am and 4pm on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 December.
With more than 100 fantastic businesses from the local region attending, it’s set to be our biggest market yet and a brilliant opportunity to shop local and pick up unique gifts in time for the big day.
There will be a large variety of tasty hot food to keep you warm while you explore the grounds, as well as live music to enjoy. Don’t miss the chance to watch our deer being fed at approximately 11.30am.
Entry to the market is free. Car parking costs £4.50 (cash only), or free to Normanby membership holders.
To help the flow of traffic a road closure will be in place between Normanby and Thealby between the hours of 9am and 4pm on both Christmas Market days.
Follow our Facebook page to stay up to date with the event.

Late night opening
This year we are giving visitors even more opportunities to enjoy the festive atmosphere, with three late night openings.
On these special nights, taking place on 15, 22 and 23 December, the park’s buildings, including the hall, cafe and shop will be open until 7pm for visitors to enjoy the beautiful decorations or shop for local produce and stocking fillers.
Talented cellist Stephen Donoghue will be performing on 22 and 23 December.

Watch the Normanby team feed the deer
Grass becomes scarce in winter so our parks and gardens team supplement the diet of our deer by feeding them sugar beet, they love the taste!
Watch the deer up close at the rear of the hall every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through December and daily between 19 and 24 December at approximately 11.30am.

A Misremembered Christmas
The ground floor rooms of the hall have been beautifully decorated to celebrate Christmas in Regency style. As an extra special treat, pianist Liam Fletcher will be performing on 4, 10, 11, 17 and 18 December between 11am and 3pm.
Look who’s getting in on the Christmas dinner action! The Table Squirrels are not the only ones feeling festive. All the creatures have donned their Christmas gear and have even invited a few new guests to the hall….
‘A Misremembered Christmas’ is open until 3 January.
