“Turn again Whittington, thrice Lord Mayor of London…” But poor Dick and his faithful cat have a long way to go before they can become rich and famous.

Join Scunthorpe Little Theatre Club in Medieval England and follow the adventures of Dick Whittington and his Cat as they travel to London to find their fortunes.

Dick falls in love with Alice, the daughter of his boss, Alderman Fitzwarren, but when he is wrongly accused of stealing he has to leave London and find work as a sailor.

Shipwrecked in a strange land, thanks to the evil schemes of Queen Rat, things are looking bad for Dick. Luckily he has Alice, Sarah the Cook, Captain Cuttlefish and Idle Jack to help him – not to mention Cat who turns out to be a champion rat catcher and saves the day!

This family friendly new script by Geoff Wharton will delight everyone!
