Over this week a new page has been popping up on people’s feeds and timelines called The Scunthorpe Outdoor Cinema. It’s become quite a popular event type especially with all the good weather we’ve been having this year.
On the page it states there will be a central Scunthorpe location hosting a big outdoor screen. They are yet to tell where but they have given the date of August 27th as the first showing.
We can’t confirm this is definitely happening yet due to the fact events of “interest” are created nationwide on Facebook all the time. Where people set up online event invites to check demand before taking the leap and booking the venue and equipment. Although with enough interest it looks likely to go ahead. We will confirm once we have more information.
The Scunthorpe Outdoor Cinema are asking you to pick from a choice of two films.
Mamma Mia or Dirty Dancing
So far Dirty Dancing seems to be slightly taking lead.
