Scunthorpe Christmas Lights Event – Saturday 25thNovember 2017.
Lincs FM and the UK’s number one Little Mix tribute act Little Fix, who you may have seen on BBC 1 with Paddy McGuinness on “Even Better Than The Real Thing”, headed in to Church Square in Scunthorpe to turn on the town’s Christmas lights on a cold Saturday night.
When I arrived in the town centre, there appeared to be a number of activities going on such as Reindeer, Fairground Rides and various market stalls on the high street.
There was also possibly what was the worst ice skating rink I have ever seen. However that was the only real negative thing I can say about this event.
Whilst a small town like Scunthorpe is probably never going to pull in a massive household name, a very large crowd gathered for a fun night of entertainment, which was finished off with a fantastic fireworks display.
The Lincs FM crew ran a very professional event, with Little Fix putting on 2 fantastic sets, proving why they won the title of UK’s number one Little mix tribute act, with the fireworks display being the best I can remember at any Scunthorpe Christmas Lights Event.
This was a huge improvement to previous years and hope that we continue so we see more events like this in the future.
Little Fix have a SOLD OUT show at the Wortley House Hotel this December.
