Scunthorpe Foodbank // Needs your help

The local food bank needs you, do you have some of the items they desperately need? Maybe you fancy volunteering your time at the charity or you you can offer a donation to their fund? Check out the list and see if you can help.

DONATE FOOD

The food bank relies on your goodwill and support. Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital.

The shopping list below shows the food items they need right now, others are what they are low on.

If you are happy to drop off food donations, please see the table below for food collection point locations:

Scunthorpe foodbank works with over 50 referring agencies to put emergency food supplies into the hands of those in crisis.

Operating out of three distribution centres, the foodbank provides a three day supply of food to those referred to us. When clients visit our centres they are offered light refreshments, a listening ear and an opportunity to be prayed for by our team of volunteers.
