To celebrate the National Year of Reading 2026, Cathy and Stephen have chosen a theme for each month of the year and will discuss books linked to these. Attendees will then be invited to write something inspired by the discussion.

October’s session is based around Hallowe’en and ghost stories, with featured books from the early twentieth and twenty-first century, and themes of hauntings, folklore and horror.

No pre-reading required. Suitable for participants aged 16 and over. Contact us at library.enquiries@northlincs.gov.uk to book your free place.
