Memory Walk Event, The Scunthorpe local memory walk will take place in Central Park, on Sunday 7th September, 2014
The Memory Walk is the Society’s flagship fundraising event. It is a chance for family and friends to get together and join thousands of others across the UK, all walking with one common goal: to fight dementia. Help them raise as much as possible.
Alzheimer’s Society supports people to live well with dementia today and funds research to find a cure for tomorrow.
Share and celebrate someone special with a community feel, small in size but special for everyone who comes. Whichever walk you choose and wherever you walk with the Alzheimer’s Society helps raise much-needed funds for people in your area with dementia.
The walk is accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs as most of it is on paved footpaths. Don’t forget to bring your doggies, too – there’s room for everyone.
Registration time: 9.30am
Start time: 11am
