Last night Scunthorpe Nights attended The Plowright Theatre to review the Scunthorpe Gilbert & Sullivan Amateur Operatic Society’s spring concert.
Not something we would usually attend but we like to try make every event we are invited to review. The auditorium capacity was nearing full so it was nice to see it so busy to support a local society.
As the curtains opened there stood the chorus, the MC for the evening took to the side of stage to introduce the songs and alongside that throughout the performance made some jokes, which got quite a few laughs.
