New Video: The Starkins “Roundabout”

This new video comes from a bunch of young lads from South Yorkshire. The video is upbeat whilst being quite simple and features an everyday scenario of a group of friends at the fun fair. The band is a Four piece indie/ guitar-pop band comprising of members:

Vocals- Andy Daniels (Winnie)
Guitar – Matt Elliss
Bass – Will Campbell
Drums – Joe Elliss

What I like about the video and sound of these lads is the fact the vocals have that hint of yorkshire accent. The music ska feel about it, very jump around and dance.

In the video it follows the band at the funfair on all the rides and having a good time with shots also filmed in a room with the band playing, this format seems to be popular with scene shots and then band in performance shots. Opening Night Event At Café INDIEpendent

The venue is still undergoing a lot of hard work to get it near ready for opening. The first event will be held down in the basement of the building. If you remember the building as SOHO then down the steps to where Cram computers used to be situated. This is a great building with interesting levels. Which is why it will make a perfect and interesting venue and stand out from the ordinary standard you would usually categorise Cafe under.

We have had tickets for just over a month to our biggest and last gig of the year. As you may know we did a showcase earlier in the year at The Wortley hotel, Which sold out to capacity, turning people away at the doors due to fire reg, Sanctuary’s capacity is a lot higher so we hope to not have to turn people away for this one. On the door £5, we have dropped off a few more tickets to Class Six due to high demand.Sanctuary Live Sessions is the new live music night we are bringing to the Light, starting off by getting local bands into the venue for the chance to play to the converted church. Sanctuary takes place on 22nd Nov @ The Light Bar Scunthorpe. With Ameira headlining the night (As heard on BBC Radio One playlist all last week.) And BBC introducing favourites ChrisCooperBand.
