Following an overwhelming wave of community backing and vital new sponsorship and small grants, the organisers of Scunthorpe Pride officially confirmed that the town’s fourth annual festival will go ahead on Saturday 29th August 2026 at Church Square.
Earlier this year, the future of North Lincolnshire’s biggest free community festival hung in the balance after a funding shortfall and rising costs. However, thanks to the generosity of local residents, grassroots donations and crucial backing from main event sponsor Rands Solicitors amongst other sponsors such as Stagecoach buses, Vital Hands, Scunthorpe Pride has successfully secured its return to Church Square and Library Square from 12pm-7pm with it’s popular on foot town centre parade making it’s way through town from 11:30am
With a footfall of over 15,000 visitors last year, Scunthorpe Pride 2026 is hoping for for another successful year of community cohesion.
The Main Stage: A sensational, non-stop line-up of artists, drag performers, musicians, singers and performers keeping the party alive. Headline acts for this year are The Cheeky Girls and 00’s Garage Bassline Duo with, PLATNUM, best known for ft on H20’s track “What’s It Gonna Be” and “Love Shy” Bringing a high energy vocal, rap and DJ set to close out Pride 2026.

The Pride Parade: A vibrant, high-energy foot parade weaving right through the heart of the town centre to kick off the festivities. Lead by music from the Rock Choir Lincolnshire and local dance troupes.
Pride Market & Food Court: A bustling hub featuring local independent traders, community support stalls, other charities and a diverse range of food vendors.
Fair Rides, 20:21 Art Centre, Scunthorpe Library
Bar Area & After-Party: A licensed area on-site, with an after party hosted immediately after at Imaginarium 1876 and then on to Bar Retro.
“Our mission has always been to keep Scunthorpe Pride a free, non-ticketed event so that every single family and individual can celebrate with us without financial barriers,” says Beckie Stephen, Vice-Chairwoman of Scunthorpe Pride.
“After the funding scare earlier this year, seeing the community and local businesses like Rands Solicitors rally behind us has been incredibly moving. The ‘Steel Town’ spirit is very much alive, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone to Church Square this August.”
As a completely volunteer-led event, Scunthorpe Pride continues to be a vital platform for LGBTQ+ visibility, safety and unity across North Lincolnshire.
Admission to the festival is entirely free and open to all.
