This special performance serves as the ultimate “warm-up” fundraiser for Scunthorpe Pride, an event Dame Ida has proudly championed and hosted for the last three years. Known for her “old-school” cheeky humour and undeniable charm, Dame Ida has become a beloved fixture in the local community.
The show is a non-stop laughs extravaganza that has toured extensively across the UK and Europe. Attendees can look forward to:
25 Extravagant Costume Changes: A whirlwind of wigs and gowns managed with precision by show manager Paula.
Musical Medleys: Sing-along hits from favorite musicals and timeless classics.
Hysterical Comedy: A mix of sharp parodies, witty one-liners, and tongue-in-cheek humor that keeps the audience in stitches.
Interactive Fun: Dame Ida is famous for her audience participation, often venturing into the crowd to find “suitable stooges” for her comedy routines.
