Families are set to enjoy plenty of Christmas fun and games in Scunthorpe town centre.

Scunthorpe town centre will come alive with festive fun in a magical, family-friendly day packed with free entertainment, live music, festive food, roaming performers, crafts, and more.

It’s a free, feel-good celebration for everyone. Bring your family, bring your friends, and help us light up Scunthorpe this Christmas.

There is lots to look out for as you explore the town centre for the Scunthorpe Christmas lights switch on.

Live singers, Victorian magic show, brass band, characters, panto cast, stilt walker, LED roller skater, walk about theatre and more.

Winterton Light Switch On

The Christmas Light Switch On and outdoor Festive Market
Saturday 29th November 2025 from 2pm – 8pm.
Lights being switched on at 6pm.

Stalls are free to any local business or Winterton resident.



Brigg Christmas Market and Light Switch On

Friday 28 November from 4pm.
Get ready for a sparkling evening of festive fun in Brigg! The town will come alive with a huge Christmas fair and market, hosted by Brigg Community Partnership & Brigg Town Council.

Expect a delightful mix of indoor and outdoor stalls, offering everything from handcrafted gifts to seasonal treats.

There will be children’s rides to keep the little ones smiling, hot snacks to warm you up as you browse the late-night shopping at Brigg’s local stores – perfect for picking up those special Christmas presents.


Epworth Christmas Lights Switch On

Friday 28 November from 5.45pm in the town centre.


Barton-upon-Humber Christmas Festival

Saturday 29 November from 12pm.

There will be community stage acts, children’s rides, street entertainment, trade stalls and more.


Kirton in Lindsey Christmas Light Switch On


Sunday 30 November from 3pm in the Market Place, High Street, Sylvester Street and Diamond Jubilee Town Hall.

Families are invited to enjoy different kinds of food, drinks, sweets, gift stalls and so much more both inside the community run Diamond Jubilee Town Hall and the Market Place.

Santa will join the fun making his entrance at 4pm inviting children to meet him in his grotto in the Diamond Jubilee Town Hall garden area.

The Christmas lights will be switched on at 5pm by the Mayor of Kirton in Lindsey, Cllr Hazel Fox and the winners of the children’s races held at the town Summer Gala in July.
