Update March 2024: No further update has been provided Since January 2024 and Dope burger Scunthorpe hasn’t been mentioned since, so it’s unsure what’s happening with the the chain having a Scunthorpe franchise.
Dope Burger was originally established in 2011 by Oliver Johnson and the business has grown substantially over the last decade and it now includes multiple brands. The businesses operate outlets in Hull, Doncaster and Leeds and it fast became a firm favourite for burger lovers.
People have travelled miles for a taste of Dope Burger, especially their signature Rainbow coloured Unicorn Bagel burgers.
Dope Burger have released “vague” mock images of how the new restaurant could look, it shows quite a large unit and plenty of seating. It was rumoured Frod Road was the proposed location when talk of the franchise moving into the area was first mentioned but it seems this may have changed since, according the the comment responses on their social media.

Back in May 2023, Dope Burger released a concept image for a “potential” franchise and this was on Frodingham Road.
