2Faced Dance company presents Last Orders

Baths Hall, Scunthorpe, Saturday 1 July 19:30pm
£8.50 Per Ticket (+BF)
Let’s start a revolution. Down the pub.
Four strangers meet in the local. They could not be more different. But they do have one thing in common.
Thrown together and forced to confront their differences, Last Orders explores the vulnerability beneath male bravado.
With vats of physicality, barrels of humour and a pounding soundtrack, join us down the local as we explore a future where our differences stop dividing us and, instead, we unite over common ground.
Escape from the everyday, same-old-same-old; 2Faced Dance present this fun and energetic show in unexpected locations. This is more than just your regular trip to the pub.
Curtain Raiser from North Lincolnshire’s Riot Dance
North Lincolnshire’s newest Contemporary Dance troupe, formed in November 2022 they meet and rehearse at the Baths Hall weekly. Made up of Gifted and Talented contemporary dancers from Scunthorpe and the surrounding area, this will be their second public performance together as a troupe.
The troupe came together in the May half term to learn and choreograph a curtain-raiser dance piece, taught by one of the professional dancers from the 2Faced Dance Company.
2Faced Dance is an all-male professional dance company based in Hereford. Working with our Artistic Director and guest choreographers, our dancers develop performances to tour theatres and festivals across the UK and internationally. Alongside this we nurture, train and develop the next generation of dance artists, cultural leaders and audiences. We deliver workshops in schools, colleges, universities and prisons, and teach classes from our studios at the Centre For Movement. Our classes are carefully designed to be inclusive and accessible.
2Faced Dance began in 1999 when Tamsin Fitzgerald returned home from training at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds. Realising the lack of access to high quality dance opportunities for young people growing up in rural Herefordshire, she decided to embrace the landscape that the region provided her. Since its early formation, 2Faced Dance Company has grown into one of the UK’s most toured contemporary dance companies.
