All Star Superslam Wrestling set for local ring action explosion!

VENUE: The Baths Hall, Scunthorpe
DATE: Sunday, 13 February

AFTER suffering a Covid-19 knockout from March 2019 until a few late autumn programmes last year, All Star Superslam Wrestling is heading into 2022 at top speed with more than 20 events around the country running through to April and including a big local bill at The Baths Hall, Scunthorpe.

During the tour new British Tag Team championship holders Oliver Grey from Devon and his Middlesborough-born all-action partner Tony Spitfire will be seen against opposing pairings as well as also figuring in team events and solo contests as a string of new faces bidding to make their mark with All Star are headed by Midlands-based contender ‘Dangerous’ Dan Maloney who first started wrestling training at the age of 12 and more recently impressed with the WWE.

Irish force Lee Cleary, who hails from Dublin, gained an honours degree in creative digital media before switching to wrestling, now has an impressive success record through eight years of ring action and posing an equally significant threat is the man they call ‘The Fox, Kian Kelly from Devises who was first trained by Bristol born ring legend Danny Collins. Then there is the high-flying masked campaigner Spiderman and the equally determined pairing of Bulldog Bullet and Million Dollar Vegas.

Also set to be heading back our way from New Zealand as soon as Covid restrictions ease will be Maori globetrotter Niwa who went home last year with not one but two top British heavyweight titles. First he emerged as ‘People’s Champion’ in the event to celebrate All Star’s 50th anniversary and then caused an even bigger upset when ending Oliver’s Grey’s reign as All Star Superslam Champion in an explosive clash at Gravesend.

Other top favourites will also be joining the fray and there will be special prices for children as part of family offers available in addition to All Star’s popular ‘Meet and Greet’ events when fans go face to face with their favourites for photographs and autographs.
