WINNERS OF THE SONG 2014!!!
Congratulations are well deserved for Local duo ‘Duke & The Daisy’. As you may have seen over the past couple of weeks ‘VOTE NOW’ for Duke & The Daisy to win a prestigious competition held at The Convent in South Woodchester, Stroud called The Song 2014.
Thousands entered but the local duo made it through to the final round. In the final round voting opened for the last time, wiping any previous votes cast and resetting it to 0.
Voting closed this morning (Wednesday 30th July) at 9am and the winner was announced not long ago at 2pm.
The Duke & The Daisy received the news that they were the winners. This means they walk away with the prize which includes £5,000 cash & £5,000 worth of studio production time and artwork for an album plus an edited version of their winning performance being uploaded to the Netgig archive. Also they will receive a profit-share of all paid-for downloads and an album release on Convent Records.
