LGBT Community 2nd Meet up Grows

Last night we held our second meet a month on from the first. We had a few apologies from people who attended last time who were away so we didn’t really know how many to expect but to our surprise we filled the top half of Cafe INDIEpendent.

We did what we said and provided a safe place to meet other LGBT and chat with a non alcoholic drink. Yet again we had ages ranging from 14 all the way into late 40’s. A quick head count towards the end we counted around 30 people.

We did suggest the younger ones bring a guardian to over see them in which the younger group did and this was nice to get to chat to a parent as these are sometimes forgotten when it comes to the support part of things. Being able to chat to other LGBT helps to try to…
