Attending a support group or social group can be beneficial to yours or someone else’s mental health. Just think, you pop along to a social or support group, make someone smile, have a conversation or just say Hi and it makes their day just that little bit more manageable or the week a little less lonely and lighter. So if you are thinking “That’s not for me, I don’t need to attend” ask yourself, can you help or support someone else?
It’s become a frequent question on local Facebook groups asking where to meet new friends, get support, socialise so any groups or activities you know of feel free to submit below. The LiveWell website is also an excellent resource so you can submit groups and activities on there too.
