20-21 Visual Arts Centre is thrilled to present an extraordinary exhibition of work by Jenny Holzer in partnership with Tate and the National Galleries of Scotland.
Recognised as one of the most influential American artists of the last 50 years, Holzer explores how words can shape, manipulate and influence our thoughts. Her iconic work has appeared everywhere from posters and T-shirts to carved stone, electronic signs and large-scale projections, capturing audiences in public spaces and museums around the world.
This is a rare opportunity for Scunthorpe to host an exhibition of this significance, giving families and visitors from across the UK the chance to experience Holzer’s work for free.

ARTIST ROOMS brings international artists to UK audiences through solo exhibitions drawn from a national touring collection jointly owned by Tate and the National Galleries of Scotland. Its programme reaches communities across the country and is managed in partnership by Tate and National Galleries of Scotland, with support from Art Fund and Henry Moore Foundation.
