Flat Moon – UK Tour 2026 are coming to Cafe Indie on the 20th March!
Flat Moon is a vibrant, six-piece funk-rock band from Leeds, known for their high-energy, genre-bending live shows, blending funk, psych-rock, jazz-fusion, and punk with intricate grooves, powerful sax, and infectious hooks. They explore themes like escapism, anxiety, and neurodivergence through their eclectic sound, recently releasing their debut album, “Cookin’ Up a Groove,” which showcases their unique blend of danceable grooves and thoughtful lyrics.
Funky, punky, good-times-are-a-myth debunky music is about to be served on a silver platter across the UK in 2026 as we set off on our first nationwide headline tour to celebrate the release of our debut album, ‘Cookin’ Up A Groove’.
Off the back of their sold-out headline at Leeds’ Brudenell Social Club, they are taking the show on the road.
It is the bands first ever UK headline tour, and they’ve organised it entirely independently, they’ve got some great support acts joining them for the Scunthorpe show: Healer and Kefler.
Scunthorpe is one of their members hometowns, he’s got fond memories of watching Soft Play (formerly Slaves) and Arcade Fire in the town.
For fans of: Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Frank Zappa, Parliament/Funkadelic, Black Midi, High Fade, James Brown, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Rage Against the Machine.
