As we know, the industry is tough, bills are getting higher and footfall dropping. Getting people through the doors, paying for entertainment to get people through the doors, choosing the right entertainment. Getting your offers to reach local people, generally advertising your venue, gig or event and struggling with ticket sales.
Some venues have already registered interest within the first 30 minutes but I need at least 20 people.
So, would you be interested in forming a community meet for Venues, Event Organisers, Bands, Talent, Promoters, Pubs, Bars and even restaurants.
You might wonder how a restaurant could be relevant but think, how many people go out to eat and then may be looking for somewhere to go after or vice versa. Linking Venues and Entertainment, discuss the biggest hurdles and how everyone can help each other. Even if it’s coming together to print a bi-monthly events list to display in venues.
e.g. Link offers, perhaps another business can be a ticket office for your event or give a discount to customers for food or tickets? A video showcasing different events and venues. All ideas welcome.
Bands, promoters and entertainment can link together to put on exciting new shows, gigs and support venues.
People can Knowledge share and meet other people in the same boat.
If in demand, I can attempt to put together a short presentation to get it started, with some tips on advertising, graphics, websites etc.
If I get around 20 people interested then I will look to organise a venue, date and time.
