North Lincolnshire’s newest music festival “Humber Music Festival” is coming to Winterton Showground in July 2026.
Already announced is:
The Bluetones
Released their debut single, “Are You Blue or Are You Blind?” in 1995. Their commercial breakthrough came with the single “Slight Return” which reached number 2 on the UK charts in 1996. Their debut album, Expecting to Fly, was a huge success, debuting at number 1 on the UK album charts.
Space
Space rose to prominence with their debut album, Spiders (1996), and its follow-up, Tin Planet (1998). Both albums achieved platinum status in the UK. Probably best known for “Female of the Species”: One of their most recognizable tracks.
Dodgy
Dodgy rose to fame in the mid-1990s with a string of popular hits. Their most commercially successful album, Free Peace Sweet (1996), helped solidify their place in the Britpop movement. “Good Enough” Their biggest hit, this song reached No. 4 on the UK Singles Chart and became one of the most played songs on British radio in 1996. It was also featured on the soundtrack for the film Sliding Doors and of course the legendary track “Staying Out for the Summer”.
Chris Helme
The voice behind The Seahorses’ massive hits “Blinded By The Sun” and “Love Is The Law” will be taking our stage with a full band, bringing those soaring vocals and unforgettable melodies that defined the late 90s. This will be his first performance with a full band for many years.
This lineup just keeps getting better and better for those nostalgic lovers of BritPop and Indie music.
