Bad Girls-The Musical is based on the TV series which ran from 1999 to 2006.

Set in the fictional HMP Larkhall, it is the story of new idealistic Wing Governor, Helen Stewart and her battle with Old School Prison Officers Jim Fenner and his sidekick Sylvia Hollamby, to make life better for the prison inmates.

Featuring a wonderfully anarchic bunch of characters on the edge and up against the odds – prostitutes, addicts, shoplifters, murderers, and crammed full of big songs, it is an exhilarating mix of gritty reality, rebellious spirit, emotional honesty and irreverent humour.

The wonderful songs include the beautiful Freedom Road, heart wrenching Sorry and the hilarious big production number The Future is Bright.
