Fabric Lenny – Totem Stacks and Kindly Acts
29 June to 26 October 2024.
Yorkshire based artist Fabric Lenny uses drawing as a springboard to everything: painting, sculpture, public art and animation, creating ‘candy for the eye and musings for the soul’. This exhibition includes new and existing paintings, prints and sculptures, shown throughout the new-build areas of the building – including new site specific artwork.

A Dog’s Life
10 August to 26 October.
Our love of dogs has been part of our national identity for centuries and affection for our canine companions shows no sign of waning.
This exhibition shows the work of international artists, designers, illustrators and photographers who use dogs as their subject matter and inspiration. The show will look at the influence and impact that dogs have had on these artists’ practise and will also give a brief insight into how dogs have become such an integral part of our lives.
This family friendly exhibition includes a host of dog themed interactives and competitions. Visitors can draw and display their pooch ‘pawtraits’, share what their dog means to them, display their favourite dog photos, and find out what they’d look like as a dog, using our specially commissioned digital interactive technology.
Artists include David Shrigley, Gerrard Gethings, Lucy Casson, Nick Sharratt and many more!

As part of our Toddler Tuesdays during the summer holidays we arranged a very special sleepover just for Teddy Bears! Children brought in their teddys for some fun games before reading them a bedtime story, tucking them in and leaving them to stay overnight to get up to all sorts of mischief. The next day the children were delighted to receive photos of their bears escapades.
