Penny Bank this week launched a brand new and affordable Lunch and Dinner menu.
Since the closure for covid the venue had ceased to serve food but as of this week is now providing great value bar menu deals. Including a classic toasties and chips for just £3.00! Along with other favourites like burger meals, nachos, hot dog and paninis. View the Menu here

HARDR:VE at The Light Nightclub (Fri 24th Feb)
After relaunching at Oscars Bar & Nightclub the Hardr:ve event has gained real traction, now moving to The Light Nightclub, Scunthorpe’s only existing nightclub. The line up is packed with talented DJ’s and MC’s from the hardstyle scene.

Dirty Sterling are back
Scunthorpe’s favourite original Indie rock band is back on the gig scene. The band have a slightly new formation with some new members but the same banging anthems. The band have a gig coming up this Saturday at The Priory in Scunthorpe, which will no doubt be a busy one with support from the Makavelies and Indie-Nile. The band have since announced a spot at Mosborough Festival at Don Valley Bowl.

Casa Della Pasta
Brand new Italian inspired restaurant set to open this March with food that looks like it fits in with fine dining. Casa Della Pasta has taken over the building that recently housed Sit Dog Cafe in Messingham. They will be opening the outdoor space, growing their own herbs and getting their own chickens. The restaurant is a venture by the same owner that launched popular burger joint, The Smoking Goat.

Scunthorpe Pride 2023
Scunthorpe Pride 2023 is currently in planning. A small team of Volunteers are working to get the planning and funding ready for the event to go ahead on Bank Holiday Sunday August 27th of this year. It is said to be aimed at everyone and inclusive to all no matter how you identify. Families are welcome, there will be plenty for the kids to do and live entertainment on a main stage in the new Urban Garden at Church Square. Read more

Cafe INDIE play host to an array of fantastic upcoming and emerging bands with the help of promoters like Westview live and Wroot Rocks they’ve got some crackers coming up.
