That’s why we’ve teamed with The Penny Bank & The Grind Hire to bring you a quality and completely free alternative night bi-monthly right in the town centre. Friendly vibes and great tunes!
Do you fancy reminiscing? Grab those ripped jeans or skinny’s, stick your chains on and your best band tee.
Get down early because it is a small venue but we are going to raise the roof once again!
CTRL ALT DISCO sees the return of DJ Kev from The Grind. Kev is the longest running Alt DJ in the area, with years of experience. Kev has previously had guest DJ spots at CORP in Sheffield and Position in Hull. But you might better remember him for being a general legend at the mighty imp, he’s brought some amazing bands to the town over the years. And if you can remember a little further back to Rock Open and Steve Birds Alternative Disco…he did those too! The last event in December had a fantastic turn out, with faces new and old it was great to see such a mix of different generations uniting for the Alternative scene.
The event is in association with Scunthorpe Nights because even though I’m quite into my house and dance these days…Church Square made me and you can’t quite beat the atmosphere of the alt crowd.
Come have a song, dance and hopefully see some old and new faces. Spread the word!

This is a call to tell all your friends, don’t matter if you’re just a girl or have men’s needs, welcome to the black parade! Come as you are, full of teen spirit, and jump da f**k up!
