Post-Punk-Pop-Rock trio The Molotovs ended 2021 on a high supporting The Libertines on the London leg of their UK tour and the year ahead looks promising and exciting.
The band never fail to draw a crowd on the London and surrounding circuit and entertain with their blistering sets including covers from the 50’s to present day along with clean, sharp and raw originals.
The Molotovs leave nothing in the dressing room with their high energy performance and are certainly an emerging band to keep an eye on.
Songwriter and lead vocalist Mathew impressively thrashes his guitar with stage antics to match (think Wilko meets Weller) while bassist and backing vocalist Issey bops and struts with a steely presence. Drummer Ice is a driving force adding extra punch and explosion to this formidable trio who are arguably the UK’s hardest working and energetic teen band.
‘They’re fucking ace!’
Peter Doherty (The Libertines)
‘Young, proper musicians getting out there’
Nicky Weller (Paul’s sister)
