Scunthorpe LGBTQ+ Society have teamed up with The Black Door and are trialing a NEW weekly meet up. Social Sundays.
It’s exciting news! The Black Door have opened their doors to us on a weekly basis starting next week between 1pm and 3pm.
They’re very kindly offering us free soft drinks and they do food too, at reasonable prices.
We know it’s an alcohol centric venue but please don’t let that put you off!

Under 18’s are as welcome as over 18’s!
Plenty of tea, coffee and non alcoholic beverages.
The team are excited to meet you all and make Scunthorpe Pride 2023 a reality! Plans are already progressing with a potential date and outdoor space, so get involved or just come a long and have your say.
It will be a relaxing and safe environment and anyone really wanting to attend but feeling too anxious to and needing some support then don’t hesitate to contact the page, or join the Discord chat to get to know some people before you attend.

ABOUT THE BLACK DOOR
One of the newer venues in town, this warm, trendy and welcoming little bar opened up a couple of years ago and it prides itself on being a cocktail bar with a difference located inside one of Scunthorpe’s most iconic buildings. Serving up bespoke cocktails, craft beers, good vibes and handcrafted coffee within effortlessly cool surroundings. They also serve quite delicious looking toasted sandwiches and charcutier boards.
The Black Door are dog friendly during the day. They also do movie nights with free unlimited popcorn, cocktail masterclasses and the increasingly popular Bottomless Brunch option. The Black Door offer 15% off to customers who are attending a ticketed event at The Baths Hall.
