SCUNTHORPE: WITNESS APPEAL FOLLOWING POSSIBLE COLLISION ON MORTAL ASH HILL
An appeal for information is being made following the discovery of a damaged pedal cycle on the A18 Mortal Ash Hill Scunthorpe around 1945hrs on Saturday 20 September.
The damaged cycle was brought to the attention of police by a member of the public and enquiries are now taking place to establish whether the cycle was involved in a road traffic collision.
The rider of the cycle was spoken to by police but has been unable to recall what happened. He had sustained minor injuries, although it is unclear presently how he came about those injuries – whether he was involved in a collision with a car or if he fell of his cycle and it was later damaged by a passing car.
Anyone with information on any incident involving a pedal cycle on the single carriageway of the A18 in the direction of Brigg on the date and time stated is asked to call 101 quoting log number 606 of Saturday 20 September.
