This weekend 2 of the biggest town centre venues are taking on all day events, Henry’s have promoter ‘Acid Peacock’, who will be doing Peacock Sessions and Full Vibes (Hardr:ve) This event will finish at 4am. Also just down the road a little further into the town centre popular Abacus bar will be hosting a day of live indie entertainment Abacus Rocks brought to you by ‘Get Into Trouble Promotions’.

You could think of it as a mini Tramlines festival or Humber Street Sesh. As you have a nice big line up of different bands from in and out of town playing two venues for long periods of time. Who knows one day if every promoter took on a bar//club for an all dayer on the same day a Scunthorpe Session Festival could be born throughout the town centre. Anyway why not pop along to both they aren’t far apart. Show some bands some support or rave hard.
