THE CHASE + The Cavs + Idyllic @ Cafe INDIE
Metropolitan and melodic, The Chase’s music is a blend of cultural influences that pays tribute to their council estate roots. In the space of a few short years, the five-piece have amassed a dedicated fanbase that has propelled them into the stratosphere of the UK indie music scene. The lads have been tipped as one of the biggest breakthrough bands on the scene by press, promoters, radio & anyone who see’s them live. The Cavs are a Manchester outfit consisting of Elliot (vocals & occasional guitars), Mikey (bass), Arthur (drums), Chris (lead guitar), and James (rhythm guitar) Blending imaginative songwriting with vibrant, energetic execution, the group has been steadily establishing a name for themselves as a rising act in the independent local scene. “Electrifying live shows and anthemic choruses of the highest order.” Gigwise Idyllic are one of the most interesting and exciting emerging young bands around. Hailing from Liverpool and Manchester in the UK, Idyllic’s unique M62 sound is ready to be heard. “With members coming from both Manchester and Liverpool, the five-piece succeeds in bridging the gap between the two cities idiosyncratic aesthetics; a baggy Mancunian swagger upheld by a rich Zuton-esque musicality.” The sound of Idyllic has its influences in Rock ‘n’ Roll, Indie Rock, Reggae and Post-Punk. Idyllic are fronted by Niall Doolan with Joe Keech on drums, Josh Peters on bass and Ben Rogers and Megan Lee on guitars. There’s Old Bands, There’s New Bands and There’s IDYLLIC . . .
