Three men have been arrested in connection with the robbery of a 47-year-old man in a Scunthorpe alleyway.

A MISSING Scunthorpe teenager has been found “safe and well”.

14-year-old Shannon Brazier went missing on Tuesday (May 26) and was found in Scunthorpe yesterday (Sunday, May 31).

MISSING PERSON APPEAL: CONCERN IS GROWING FOR 46-YEAR-OLD STEPHEN KAI GOLUBOVIC.
Stephen was last seen in Scunthorpe  (Wednesday 18 February 2015) at 0220hrs. Stephen is white, 5 feet 4 inches tall of ruddy complexion with short black hair and a beard.

Concern is raised for Stephen’s welfare as he may need medical attention. Stephen was last seen wearing a red Addidas jacket with grey tracksuit bottoms.

Stephen, or anyone with information as to where Stephen might be, is asked to call Police on 101 quoting – Log 43 18/02/2015.

UPDATED POLICE APPEAL // TO LOCATE 14 YEAR OLD SCUNTHORPE GIRL SHANNON BRAZIER (FOUND SAFE)

GRIMSBY – MISSING SCUNTHORPE GIRL SHANNON BRAZIER FOUND SAFE AND WELL.
Following an appeal to locate missing Scunthorpe girl Shannon Brazier who was last seen in Grimsby on Friday 2 January 2015, police can now confirm she has today been found safe and well.


POLICE are appealing for the public’s help in locating a missing 14 year old Scunthorpe girl.

Shannon BRAZIER (14) from Scunthorpe was last known to be in Grimsby in the Laceby Acres area at around 1800hrs on Friday 2 January 2014 and as she has not been seen since, police are growing concerned for her welfare due to her age.

Shannon was reported missing to police on Friday 2 January and there are suggestions that she may have travelled to the Bradford area.

Shannon is described as being a 14 year old white girl who is approximately 5ft 7ins tall with brown “messy” hair tied up in a pony tail.  She has a cheek piercing and when last seen was wearing a dark blue parka type jacket with a fur trimmed hood with light blue Puma suede trainers with a red emblem.

Police would like to hear from Shannon or anyone who may have information as to her whereabouts.  Calls should be made to police on 101 quoting log number 554 of Friday 2 January 2015.

POLICE APPEAL // ELDERLY COUPLE INJURED FOLLOWING BURGLARY

SCUNTHORPE: ELDERLY COUPLE INJURED FOLLOWING BURGLARY
An elderly Scunthorpe couple sustained serious injuries during an aggravated burglary at their home address this evening.

The incident happened at approximately 1720hrs on Elm Grove in the town.

Police were alerted by a member of the public who reported seeing a man run from the house of the couple, get into a white van and make off.

Officers attended the address and discovered the man and woman, both aged in their late 80s to early 90s, with serious injuries.

It is believed they were assaulted by the man who was attempting to burgle them. At this time it is not known whether anything was stolen.

The suspect has been described as a white man, aged in his late 30s, 5ft 2ins tall, stocky build and wearing a hooded top and jeans.

The injured man and woman were taken to Scunthorpe General Hospital where they remain at this time and are both said to be in a critical condition.

The address on Elm Grove has been cordoned off and crime scene investigators are conducting an examination of the property. Meanwhile house to house inquiries have been carried out in the area in an effort to locate witnesses.

Police are seeking help from the public to identify the whereabouts of the white van believed to have been used in the burglary. It is described as a white caddy style van and it left the scene heading in the direction of Collum Avenue.

Detective Inspector Jon Cross said: “This was a vicious attack on two elderly and vulnerable members of the community in their own home. At this stage they are receiving treatment in hospital for their injuries and they are both in a critical condition.

“Our investigations are ongoing and we are keen to locate the white caddy style van seen leaving the address at approximately 1720hrs today. I would urge anyone who thinks they may have seen the van at any point either prior to, or after the incident was reported, to contact us.”

POLICE APPEAL// FOLLOWING SERIOUS ROAD TRAFFIC COLLISION

SCUNTHORPE – SERIOUS ROAD TRAFFIC COLLISION, A18, DONCASTER RD, GUNNESS, APPEAL FOR INFORMATION.

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision which happened shortly after 2000hrs on Sunday 7 December 2014.

One man was seriously injured in the collision when the black Vauxhall Corsa he was driving along the A18, Doncaster Road, Gunness towards Scunthorpe left the road.

A woman who was a front seat passenger also sustained minor injuries in the collision.

The injured driver was taken to Scunthorpe General Hospital where he currently remains.

Police are investigating the circumstances which caused the vehicle to leave the road and are particularly interested in tracing the driver of a light coloured vehicle travelling in the same direction as the Vauxhall Corsa before the collision.

Anyone who has any information in connection with this collision is asked to call police on 101 quoting log number 512 of 7 December 2014.

SCUNTHORPE – POLICE APPEAL TO LOCATE ELDERLY WOMAN KATHLEEN PRESTON MISSING FROM EAST BUTTERWICK.

Police in Humberside are involved in searches to locate a missing woman from the East Butterwick area of Scunthorpe.Missing Person

Kathleen Preston (82) of High Street, East Butterwick was last seen at 2200hrs on Saturday 8 November 2014 at her home address by a family member as she retired for the evening.

Kathleen was noted as being missing from home at 0700hrs the following morning when family members were unable to locate her.

Kathleen is described as a white woman, of thin build and 5ft tall. She has blue eyes, short hair and a pale complexion and was last seen wearing a peach coloured floral nightgown.

Kathleen is vulnerable due to her age and state of health and that she is believed to be inappropriately dressed for the time of year.

Local enquiries and searches are taking place in the area to locate Kathleen and anyone who may have information in connection with her whereabouts is asked to call police on 101 quoting log number 197 of 9 November 2014.

POLICE APPEAL//BARTON/HUMBER BRIDGE ROAD RAGE INCIDENT

BARTON/HUMBER BRIDGE: POLICE APPEAL FOLLOWING A ROAD RAGE INCIDENT

Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses following a criminal damage incident close to the A15 Barton off slip road near the Humber Bridge between 0415hrs and 0500hrs on Sunday 21 September 2014.

A silver coloured VW Passatt taxi and a silver coloured Ford Focus almost collided as they were approaching the toll booths at the Humber Bridge. The two cars then crossed the bridge before the driver the Ford Focus pulls up in front of the Passatt forcing it to stop.

The man driving the Focus then got out his car and allegedly attacked the Passatt with a baseball bat causing damage to the car. He then returned to his vehicle and drove off.

It is believed that a number of cars were in the area at the time of the incident and police would like to speak to them as independent witnesses.
