Following months of uncertainty following the closure of the Lincoln Imp, the venue finally reopened under new ownership, with the previous landlady Lorraine returning to manage the popular venue.
On Sunday 28th July, The Penny Bank Pub on Scunthorpe High Street will be partying hard again for another popular Sunday Live. The music starts at 6:30pm so if you want a seat get in early.
This weekend Micky Glamz will be coming over from Newcastle to perform a heavy hitting and foot stomping 70’s Glam Rock Revolution.
So if you find yourself bored on a Sunday after 6pm then why not check out the fast growing Sunday Live scene.
Various genres of live music every Sunday, only big tribute nights are ticketed so unless otherwise stated, it’s usually free.
Last Saturday night I visted the Comet Hotel, which is another local venue trying to keep live music available to the people of Scunthorpe.
