Where could you visit?

The best FREE day out we vote for is East Park in Hull. We know it’s not in Scunthorpe but it’s worth the trip! It’s absolutely brilliant for kids and families. There are various outdoor play areas here, all modern and quite large. There’s sometimes free events here too. There’s a FREE animal centre providing a walk round petting zoo type experience with plenty of animals to see and even a walk through butterfly house. There is a boating lake with paddle swan boats and a water slide but I’m not sure if this is open. There’s plenty of spots for a picnic if you don’t fancy the cafe.

If you don’t want to go to the furthest side of Hull then West Park is a lot closer to the Hessle end, it’s got play areas and a few animals but not as many and it’s not as big.
