Next in Line for an investment is The Bluebell Inn on Oswald road, who are apparently set to undergo an extension into the 3 adjoining properties as far as The Old Buccaneer. If this goes ahead it will be like Bluebell street, not a bad thing and it’s good to see some investment being made in the town centre. The beer garden will also be extended in these plans but will it happen? We cannot confirm anything yet but apparently plans and agreements are underway.
Third investment has been STORM nightclub handed over to Stealth Bars, who have renamed and revamped the venue as VOID Nightclub. The venue has not yet reopened but will be having a pre launch event in the future.
What will the venue look like inside now? By the looks of it it’s been undergoing extensive building work inside and it seems to be waiting a long time until re launch since it closed.
The newest venue to gain investment and to re open is Jeff Cundy’s snooker/pool hall on Doncaster Road. It will re open as Kin’s Sports Bar. The venue has currently been shut for 2 years.
Next Saturday, popular local band Dirty Sterling will take to the stage at The Lincoln Imp for the last time. Continue reading SOLD OUT -Dirty Sterling // The Final Gig

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 28,000 times in 2014. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 10 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
