As the main admin and creator have decided to purchase the domain name of http://www.scunthorpenights.co.uk for 2 years. Then after that WordPress fees to redirect our site were kindly paid for by our new web sponsor (Who often does us some reviews) Casper’s Computers for one year.
We have been receiving more and more interest and web traffic and with that we feel it was time to .co.uk.
By now you should know we are not for profit and while we can it will continue to remain this way.
This is our hobby and we do not get paid in monies so please appreciate, we are personally self funding this to promote and support our local area and scenes. We enjoy what we do but occasionally we can make spelling mistakes and use incorrect grammar and punctuation. A lot of the time we are quite busy with full time and work and other side projects and obviously our own lives but when we are asked to do something politely for an event or review we will try to do it as quick as we can.
We try not to take ourselves to seriously and remain a friendly rather than just informative. So send us a comment once in a while and interact with us. We like to know what you think and what you want to see.
In a few more months we are nearing 2 years of Scunthorpe Nights running.
Thanks to those page liker’s, Twitter & Blog followers and everyone who has ever shared us or something by us. Also all the fantastic organisations, venues, bands and promoters who have invited us to review or attend events/shows, it’s been great and I for one have seen a great variety of talent and passion being put into the local scene for Music, Theatre, The Arts and Charity etc.
Please keep sharing our page http://www.facebook.com/wearescunnynights or inviting your friends list.
We would also like to thank our news partners The Scunthorpe Independent for being behind us and kick starting our reviewing, they are a fantastic platform of non profit news and media.
Help us out and promote with us:
If you are a venue, promoter, band or artist CLICK HERE or email us about how we can help you with pre promo and reviews.
If you are a general member of the public CLICK HERE. Like our Facebook, share some statuses and articles now and then and keep us going. Because without your views we are a bit pointless after all. 🙂
If you have seen or aim to see something locally that you think deserves a review you can guest review, so get in touch via Facebook or Email email@example.com.

The new single from Scunthorpe Alternative Rock Band Skarlett Riot was exclusively aired on Saturday Night on BBC Humberside Introducing’s Live session.
The track is titled ‘House Of Cards’ and will be readily available to Purchase on Itunes on the 8th of September! You can show your support and views on the new track and lyric video by hashtagging
#SRarmy or tweeting @SkarlettRiot.
The intro is nice and heavy with some thrashing symbols and head banging rhythm. Most of the songs written and performed by Skarlett Riot have memorable lyrics and catchy choruses.
The band have played big name festivals such as Download, Leeds, Reading and more. They have also gained 10,000 plus likes on Facebook. They rarely play Scunthorpe, but if you are into this genre I would definitely recommend watching them somewhere perform live.
On 12th, 13th,14th of September they will be supporting German band Edguy on their UK tour at various venues starting with Manchester.
Already the band have started to receive some great feedback from the exclusive of ‘House Of Cards’ from their fans.

This Saturday the biggest local event kicks off between Broughton & Appleby.
How Much is it and where can I get a ticket ? £20 & tickets are still available from Celebrate Partyshop Robert Street.
When can I camp from? Saturday to Sunday
I haven’t received my online ticket purchase yet? Don’t worry if you ordered before last Friday your tickets should have been dispatched and be with you by the end of this week.
Why can’t I bring glass bottles? One they are more dangerous, health and safety and also harder to get rid of. Where as cans are much easier to recycle and plastic bottles.
What time does it start and end? 12pm to 12am
Why does it finish at 12am this year? Due to noise restrictions which effect local villages.
Why can’t I bring a caravan? Space is the answer to this, if there were too many caravans the site would fill quickly & there are no hook ups. Camper vans are permitted.
Can we have a BBQ or Fire? Due to fire risks these will not be permitted. Food vans will be on site for your catering needs or feel free to bring a picnic.
The event is open to over 18’s only due to licensing.
Can I pay on the gate on the day? This option will not be available.
Party In The Pines is situated in a private woodland clearing. Whilst driving past Broughton onto Appleby you will see the sign posted entrance to enter the parking & camping site. Once you have parked and pitched you can make your way to the fair situated near the entrance to the Pine arena.
As you walk through the woodland area you will then come to the clearing the Rave cave will be situated here and across the other side of the clearing is the stage and main DJ stage.
Stay safe, Have fun & be nice!!!
See you in the trees
