SCUNTHORPE: WITNESS APPEAL FOLLOWING POSSIBLE COLLISION ON MORTAL ASH HILL
An appeal for information is being made following the discovery of a damaged pedal cycle on the A18 Mortal Ash Hill Scunthorpe around 1945hrs on Saturday 20 September.
The damaged cycle was brought to the attention of police by a member of the public and enquiries are now taking place to establish whether the cycle was involved in a road traffic collision.
The rider of the cycle was spoken to by police but has been unable to recall what happened. He had sustained minor injuries, although it is unclear presently how he came about those injuries – whether he was involved in a collision with a car or if he fell of his cycle and it was later damaged by a passing car.
Anyone with information on any incident involving a pedal cycle on the single carriageway of the A18 in the direction of Brigg on the date and time stated is asked to call 101 quoting log number 606 of Saturday 20 September.
BARTON/HUMBER BRIDGE: POLICE APPEAL FOLLOWING A ROAD RAGE INCIDENT
Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses following a criminal damage incident close to the A15 Barton off slip road near the Humber Bridge between 0415hrs and 0500hrs on Sunday 21 September 2014.
A silver coloured VW Passatt taxi and a silver coloured Ford Focus almost collided as they were approaching the toll booths at the Humber Bridge. The two cars then crossed the bridge before the driver the Ford Focus pulls up in front of the Passatt forcing it to stop.
The man driving the Focus then got out his car and allegedly attacked the Passatt with a baseball bat causing damage to the car. He then returned to his vehicle and drove off.
It is believed that a number of cars were in the area at the time of the incident and police would like to speak to them as independent witnesses.

SCUNTHORPE: APPEAL FOR HELP FINDING MISSING 14 YEAR-OLD, BRADLEY WELLS.
Police are appealing for help in locating a 14 year-old boy who has been reported missing.
Bradley Wells, who is originally from Barton, was living in Scunthorpe at the time his went missing. He was last seen in Scunthorpe at 1300hrs on Thursday 11 September 2014. He is described as white; around 5ft 8ins tall, clean shaven with short, curly mousy coloured hair.
Bradley was last seen wearing a grey Adidas track suit with matching zip-up hoody. Bradley is believed to be in theGrimsby area and police are urging him to contact them.

SCUNTHORPE: APPEAL AFTER A LIMITED EDITION FENDER STRATOCASTER GUITAR WAS STOLEN FROM ALLANBY STREET
Humberside Police are appealing for information following a burglary on Allanby Street, Scunthorpe between 1400hrs on Wednesday 23 July and 1900hrs on Wednesday 13 August 2014.
While the home owners were on holiday an unknown person(s) entered the property before stealing numerous items from within.
One item stolen was a very unique and expensive gold limited addition Fender Stratocaster guitar worth an estimated £1,000 (pictured above).
Also stolen in the incident were a television, a laptop, a Yamaha YTR 433 trumpet, a mobile phone, numerous unopened gifts and two items of jewellery.
Police would like to speak to anyone with information about the burglary or the whereabouts of the stolen property.They should do this by calling 101 quoting crime reference number 2062253 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Police need assistance to locate the friends and family of man in North East Lincolnshire
In around September 2013 a man was brought to the attention of police in North East Lincolnshire who appeared to be sleeping rough in the Cleethorpes area. Since that time police and a number of agencies have been working to try and establish an identity for the man, however this has proved unsuccessful.
The man, who has been fully co-operative with the police and the other agencies, gave his name as David THORPE, or a first name of Tony, and his date of birth as 05 October 1955. A thorough search of both police and NHS systems cannot find a man with those details.
