This afternoon we decided to pop into town. We went into the market but didn’t plan on eating but the tempting smell of Ali’s food hut lured us over. There were already a fair few customers lined up waiting to try some of Ali’s Authentic Indian cuisine.
So the latest craze in fast food at the minute is shoving everything in to one pizza box. In someways it’s a good thing, less plastic tubs for the environment and less plate washing and dishing up for you.
Tonight we visited the Honest Lawyer on Oswald Road.
On Tuesday 24th July, we attended the final trial run and preview for the new Iron Forge, before it opens officially to the public at 12pm today (Wednesday 25th July).
Since the re opening of Ashby Lodge pub on Monday 5th March there has been some good reviews online.
Sunday’s for a lot of people mean a traditional Sunday roast or a home cooked meal but as we were going for a night at The Baths we thought we would visit Dine Bangla on Frodingham road. It’s a small place with a simple yet welcoming and pleasant decor.
Over the weekend Frankie and Benny’s across the UK rolled out an offer for Unlimited breakfasts. The deal was book or reserve a table before 12pm on Saturday or Sunday and if you finish your plate you can have another…or as many as you can eat.
Looking at Facebook The Royal Hotel Scunthorpe doesn’t look great for food reviews but having not checked it out for ourselves we went along for tea. It wasn’t an overly busy period.
Last night we chose to eat at The Priory on Ashby road. Considering it was absolutely packed with weekend revellers in the bar the food dinning area was realitivly quiet so that was good.
