Last night, I just could not be bothered to cook. I’d seen on social media some tasty looking food boxes on Ashby based Indian takeaway “Miah’s Kitchen”, which I kept meaning to try. So last night was the night.
Value for money is lower simply because some local takeaways offer a slightly bigger portion for the price. But the food was delicious, hot and arrived on time. We were invited to try the brand new dining experience at The Penny Bank on Scunthorpe High Street.
Last night, we couldn’t be bothered to cook and I remembered I had seen the Marston’s 40% off mains offer.

On Saturday afternoon we decided to visit The Beckwood. I’d heard good things about the food here but hadn’t been for a while.

This afternoon we decided to pop into town. We went into the market but didn’t plan on eating but the tempting smell of Ali’s food hut lured us over. There were already a fair few customers lined up waiting to try some of Ali’s Authentic Indian cuisine.
So the latest craze in fast food at the minute is shoving everything in to one pizza box. In someways it’s a good thing, less plastic tubs for the environment and less plate washing and dishing up for you.
